Foma was established in 1956 in Lumezzane (Brescia) by Mr. Angelo Montini for the production of aluminium die-casting moulds. The production of die-cast aluminium started in 1962. The Pralboino factory was founded in 1971.

The plant now extends on 66.000 sq m covered surface and 102.000 sq m total surface. The foundry counts 31 pressure die-casting machines with clamping force ranging from 600 to 3000 ton.

The moulds design and production, whose Know-how is an integral part of the production process, are made in the Lumezzane works.

In 1989 the production of copper pipes started in Bedizzole works.

Since 2000 it has been created next to the foundry department of Mechanical Machining, which allows you to complete the production cycle of cast aluminum and follow the requirements of our customers.

Today Foma with its fleet of 31 presses is one of the biggest realities in Europe in aluminum die casting.
